Best time to visit Singapore in short
There is no rain-free season and no single best month. Daily highs stay between 30.5 and 32.4 °C all year, and lows between 24.3 and 25.7 °C. Rain is the real difference. February is the driest month on average. November to January bring the most rain, with December the wettest.
Weather matters most for the viewing deck and for evenings out. Heavy rain or lightning can close the SkyPark for a time. If you want to see the bay from a boat instead, look at a Singapore River cruise, which also depends on the sky.

How the weather affects your plans
What to expect at the main sights.
SkyPark Observation Deck
The deck can close for a while in heavy rain or lightning. You may be entitled to a refund if you have had less than 1 hour on the deck before a weather closure. That is not an unconditional refund, so read the ticket terms. See the SkyPark guide for prices and timed entry.
Gardens by the Bay
The OCBC Skyway can pause in bad weather. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest are chilled conservatories and make a dry fallback. The attractions take monthly maintenance days, and only one chilled dome is closed at a time.
ArtScience Museum
The museum is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:00. teamLab Future World is in the galleries on level B2 and needs a timed ticket. It is a sensible wet-day choice.
The Shoppes
The mall is under cover and connects with the station area. Mall hours are 10:30 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and 10:30 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday. Individual shops can differ, so check the current hours before you go.
Spectra light show
The free show at the Event Plaza lasts 15 minutes. It runs at 20:00 and 21:00 Sunday to Thursday, and at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00 on Friday and Saturday. Open-air viewing depends on the sky. See the Spectra guide for viewing spots.
