Who can use the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool
Only registered hotel guests can swim in the infinity pool. You show your hotel room card at the entrance. There is no separate swim ticket you can buy, and guests cannot bring day visitors with them.
That is the most common misunderstanding about the pool. A deck ticket, a restaurant reservation or a drink at a rooftop bar does not give you pool access. If you only want the view from up there, the SkyPark observation deck tickets are the right choice. If you want to swim, you need a room, which is covered on the hotel page.

Our pick: the view without the pool
Our take: the pool is for hotel guests, the observation deck is open to everyone.

Infinity pool access at a glance
What opens the door and what does not.
| You have | Pool access? |
|---|---|
| A room at the hotel and your room card | Yes |
| Hotel registration while your room is not ready yet | Yes, with a temporary card |
| A SkyPark observation deck ticket | No |
| A table at a rooftop restaurant or bar | No |
| A day visitor invited by a guest | No |
For most visitors who are not staying at the hotel, the deck is the way to see the roof. Hotel guests get the pool as part of the stay.

What the pool area is like
The pool area has an adults' area, a family area and a separate children's pool. There is no general minimum age. There is no set age limit for the adults' area, so ask at the pool if you travel with older teenagers.
The main pool is at least 1.2 m deep. The children's pool is 0.5 m deep. Swimwear is required in the water, and towels and loungers are provided.
Hours are the same every day, from 06:00 to 00:00. That makes early swims and late evening visits possible, which is when the skyline lights are on.
Other ways onto the roof
None of these includes the pool, but each gives you a view from the top.
| Option | Where | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| SkyPark Observation Deck | Tower 3, level 56 | Timed ticket, SGD 35 off-peak or SGD 39 at peak for adults in 2026 |
| Rooftop restaurant and bar | Tower 1, level 57 | Own booking |
| Rooftop bar and restaurant | Tower 3, level 57 | Reservation needs a credit card guarantee; the deck ticket does not give direct access |
| Sunset session | SkyPark | Separate premium offer, Tuesday to Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00 outside public holidays |
For most visitors, the deck ticket is the simplest and cheapest way up. Book a table only if you want a meal with the view.
Using the pool on arrival and departure day
Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00.
Room not ready yet
If your room is not ready, the hotel registers you first and issues temporary cards for the pool, the observation deck and the fitness centre. This is not the same as a guaranteed early room.
Early arrival
Early check-in without a fee is possible only if rooms are available. Ask when you book or on arrival.
Late check-out
Ask at least 24 hours ahead. Between 11:00 and 18:00 half a day's rate can apply, and after that a full day's rate. Do not expect a free extension.
Children
The family area and the children's pool are made for families. A cot for babies is offered without extra charge, and an extra bed costs more.

Where to stay in Singapore
Other areas to compare, from Marina Bay to Sentosa.
The bay itself is not a swimming spot. The hotel pool has its own rules for guests, and that does not make Marina Bay a bathing place. Public waterways and reservoirs in Singapore have their own rules about swimming.
