Towers, height and levels

Engineers describe three hotel towers of 55 storeys each. Visitors use a different numbering: the observation deck is on level 56 and the pool on level 57. The two counts are separate, so do not read them as one list of floors.

The SkyPark sits about 200 m above the ground. The 200 m figure is the roof level, not the top of each tower, so do not use it as the height of the building.

The resort opened in 2010.

The design team and the owner

Moshe Safdie designed the resort. Aedas worked as executive architect, Arup as structural and civil engineer and PWP as landscape planner. The resort belongs to Las Vegas Sands. Read more about the shapes and the structure in the architecture guide.

A new expansion is in preparation. Groundbreaking was in July 2025, and plans include a separate hotel with 570 suites and an arena for 15,000 people. Construction is due to end in June 2030, with the opening planned for January 2031, subject to government approval. None of this is open to visitors.
